Dave was incredible! As first-time homebuyers, we were nervous, but Dave was exceptionally meticulous and patient. He took the time to explain exactly what he was looking at in a way that made sense to us, never making us feel rushed for asking basic questions. His final report was incredibly detailed yet easy to navigate. What truly set him apart, however, was his willingness to make himself available for follow-up emails to ensure we understood the report and to help us figure out our next steps. If you need a thorough, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely caring inspector, Dave is the absolute best choice. We cannot recommend Dave and Enlighten highly enough!

Adam was amazing and knowledgeable in talking me through the inspection of a property that I was considering purchasing. Because of him, I felt much more at ease with the financial commitment that I was making. He was available on short notice for the inspection, professional while also being personable, and reasonably priced.

I'm in the process of buying an older home, and Greg was my home inspector on 1/23/26. He was an incredibly knowledgeable guy, honest, kind, and very thoughtful (and patient) to help educate me on the various conditions of the house as he was working through it. He was very thorough in his inspection, with strong attention to detail, and the report came back to me in less than 24 hours with very clear outlined conclusions with plenty of pictures for guidance. Joining others in praising the thorough inspection done by Dave! He methodically and meticulously went through the home, inspecting every nook and cranny and saving my bacon by identifying important issues that I and potentially other inspectors might well have missed. The cost of the inspection was more than covered by the time and expense he saved me to fix issues later. Dave also exceeded expectations by sending over the written report just a few hours later that night after a nearly 3 hour inspection of the home! Enlighten offers a 24 hour guarantee of a report turnaround, something that was key for me in selecting an inspector in order to meet builder and homebuying timelines. Based on an earlier experience with Enlighten, I hired them to complete a post-installation inspection of recently installed vinyl siding. The inspector was courteous and detailed in his review of the new siding. As a consequence, the surprised installer is coming out next week to re-do parts of the installation.

The inspection process with Enlighten Home Inspections has been amazing. Not only was the inspector very thorough and detailed, but the platform they used to display the report (HomeGauge) was accessible to a screen reader user, properly marking up semantic information like section headings, tables, and other important layout information, making it an all-around barrierless experience.
